大学毕业生

i finally & officially grad with a simple finance & marketing degree when i collected my official transcript & certificate today. if i were 2 count backward since d day i drop out of NTU, it's 10yrs in the making.

MJ & Sam are BACK

my frens MJ & Sam went round d world on motorbike 4 d past 2yrs 7mths. finali they are back, sound & safe, and feeling fulfilled from this trip.




Despite he was very composed when Mediacorp News was interviewing him, it was an emo moment when MJ gave his personal speech 2 his frens. In chinese we call it 重感情. MJ is always showing cheerful smile & clown around but he is in fact a very sensitive guy who treasures everybody's friendship with him. If you get 2 watch the video clip from CNA last night (01Aug2010), you would know what i mean.

India Trip...after 1yr absence

india biz trip started on 18Apr2010. Due to reach Sillypore on 29Apr2010. It's been 1yr since i m back on track for such hardcore traveling as i had exam excuses while i was still studying part-time in Curtin S'pore.

1yr mk a difference as mentally & physically 2 pampered 4 such travels under 42degC ave ambient temperature...melt...

the worse part is cumin'...weekend in India. Since i may melt under d hot sun, i hv d tendency 2 stay indoor within my hostel-like room...48hrs 2 go...

well, make d best of each day then. as of now...waiting 4 my flight from New Delhi 2 Bangalore *yawn*

Start Afresh?

It's been 3 weeks ever since i graduate, i do not look 4wd 2 go 2 work every morn. It's like a drag. Where is the enthusiasm, 2 c myself rchg offc b4 730am, planning my day routine and objectives during my drive 2 work, breathing d fresh air @ 6am n telling myself that "dis it! mk d best of dis day"...

well...not anymore. Honestly dis bad 4 me cos i haven found a new career path yet. Has 2 be discreet wif my attitude @ work, if u noe wat i mean. ^_^'''

New Year 2010

03Jan2010: Just woke up when i had planned 2 wake up @ 730am this morning. What happened was I slept b4 1030pm last night unknowingly. Well, one of those days when i just walked straight 2 my bed the moment i felt drowsy. it was a mistake as usual because when i sleep 'early', i have the tendency of waking up around 3-4am the next day. Without exception, i did wake up @ 4am. Did photo edit on my PC b4 i retire again @ 5am. as such there is no way i can wake up @ 730am after that ordeal.

now that i am awake, feeling warm & irritated, i realise that i do not look forward 2010 @ work. 2010 signifies a time of change (not knowing if good or ill), since I can graduate from Curtin by CNY and start looking for new career path. However, 2010 does not drive me 2 work smarter/harder in my current job position. This is a very dangerous feeling 4 a working exec. because the next path is not even setup yet.

I still have unfinished assignment from work - 4 biz review presentations 2 submit by 04Jan2010, and also 2 cut my hair by today (03Jan2010).

Now that I realise this, i gota change my mindset asap before I burn myself even before i graduate from Curtin and find a better spot in the corporate world.

like a fren who always tell me, "woosa"...

We had a new lecturer who's also 1st time teaching part-time students in S'pore environment. A friend of mine was talking too loud during lesson & that irritated the lecturer. So he started declaring his rules & limits. One of which is side talks among students during lessontime becasue he feels that the 3hrs are very precious to all and should not be wasted on side talks. Well we agree with him totally til he made a mistake.

i quote, "I believe you are here to make full use of your time to do well in your studies, esp. the fact that you paid for your own fees and taking time out after working hours. If you do not respect this session and me, that's fine. I would not argue with you or scold you. However, I can do something on your grades to reflect your behaviour. Likewise, in future I can be a good referral if you want to step into Finance & Banking industry. So you decide..."

What do you think of his comment? hehehhehehehehe...

Finally a BBQ worth waiting for 18Jul'09

Our dear fren Gary managed 2 secure a chalet wif BBQ amenities @ SAF Yacht Club. The environment was simply fantastic, the kind I love most...sea breeze & fine weather 2 go along.


Food is the most impt deal of the day...despite it was not visually appealing...


The kids were fantastic in front of the camera...tho' my fumbling hands had hard time trying 2 capture them.



Last but not least, wats a BBQ without games & forfeits that go along wif? :)

Finally...all anxieties are over as I pass my Tri1A'09 exam. Time to move on with renewed hope for my studies.

Decided 2 get out of office as soon as d bell rang...changed into casual & jumped into the CoffeeNation 2 work in d cosy coffee plc.

Satisfying night as I managed 2 clear my emails, had my dinner, chilled wif light beer & made some more amateur shots.
